Jim Drain for Opening Ceremony

SWOON!!! I'm absolutely in love with the new limited release for Opening Ceremony from fellow RISD grad Jim Drain ('98 SC). Absolutely brilliant designs and looks. Such a RISD aesthetic too! I could totally see kids hanging out in Olneyville in sweaters like these... well, if they didn't cost $400 to $700 bucks, oof! Read his interview here. Great stuff!

In this digital age, it's only fitting that textile design begin to emulate computer design. You could say they share more in common than not, and that the same limitations that occur in computer resolution occur in knitwear pattern making where there's always a grid to follow.
